Session II Day Camp Opens Monday Morning

The summer camp season continues Monday morning at Marquette University with the Session II Day Camp, which features nearly 300 participants.
Hundreds of campers will invade the Al McGuire Center Monday morning, with the five-day event concluding Friday afternoon with the awards ceremony. The top camp coaches are in Milwaukee from across the country, allowing Marquette to provide high-level individual instruction to the campers.
“It’s an exciting time of the year for us and we are really happy to have everyone on campus,” Marquette head coachSteve Wojciechowski said. “We are looking forward to a week full of instruction, competition and most importantly, fun.”
CAMP STORE: Check out the official Camp Store on the main concourse level of the Al McGuire Center. Food, drinks and MU gear will be available. Campers will be able to purchase “camp cash cards” for various dollar amounts so they don’t have to worry about having cash.
ATHLETICS BBQ: Join the men’s basketball players and staff for the Marquette Athletics BBQ on Tuesday, June 28 at Marquette’s Central Mall (behind Raynor Library) from 5-8 p.m. Cost is $15 per person (children 6-and-under are free). For more information call Special Events at (414) 288-7431.
